Broken links in dreamweaver 4.0

I've run the site check in Dreamweaver and also checked for broken links and there are none. I've made 3 links on the HOME Page to another .html document and I'm getting an error message:
HTTP 404 - Page Not Found.

There are only 2 pages in this website.

The site map in Dreamweaver also looks okay.

I've also made sure that the link is going to the document and not the site root.

When I preview the document from Dreamweaver and not thru the internet, the links work fine.

The links on the page not working are: the pic of the book(Gateways to Change) - (Gateways to Change -on Sale Now) and (Learn More). They're all linked to the same document -HTML page.

I've been working on this for literally hours and can't figure out what is wrong.
Any suggestions as to what might be wrong would be really helpful.

Thanks,

Skeywest

Hi

You need to change the links to .html not .htm, if you load the gateways page with .html at the end it works, but your links are set with .htm at the end.

Bu the way you really should remove the url, its against the T.O.S

Karl :)

Oh and welcome to Webmasterworld :)

Karl,......thank you, thank you.

I can't believe I overlooked that. It worked, I changed the file extensions for the links to .html.

When you FTP your .html files on Yahoo webhosting they automatically change the .htm's to .html.

Never gave it a thought when I setup the links.

Thanks again, you saved alot of my time today.
