This one is probably very basic. If I have simple html pages with products and prices listed throughout the page. I would like to get the prices to update automatically using a database. I started a table in mysql with fields for products, model, price, stockquantity and a few other fields. What is the conduit to get the code into the web page to read the fields? Is it phpadmin? If so, I have no idea what that does and where to find the code that goes into the web page.

Never mind. The answer is small php script and some code in the html page that says look at the php file. Right?! Now I again find myself stuck because I need to pick up some php skills.

Or just find a programmer that you can trust to do the work for you. Just because we can learn everything doesn't mean we ought to. Sometimes it's better to pay someone to get the job done. :)

your time = your money.

over the long run, you will find that you will be wasting more of your money trying to learn it yourself, rather than just having someone doing it for you and getting it done.

there is always a time and place to learn new things, but if you are looking to get a project done, better to do it correct the first time.
