Beyond osCommerce

Backend invoicing/ordering/inventory mgmt

I have a client that has been using an osCommerce shopping cart for a few months now. The site functions well taking orders and producing initial invoices, but has no provision for invoice and order management once the initial order is complete. Furthermore they require the capacity to analyze purchasing trends in order to maximize inventory efficiency.

Any suggestions for backend systems to plug into the frontend site?
