looking for alternative to BBedit

need to edit httpd config file

If I understand correctly, BBedit is $180.

There's got to be a less expensive tool for editing my Apache httpd config file.

I'm using OS 10.2 (Jaguar)

Any text editor will work.

I haven't upgraded BBEdit version for some time, but you used to be able to get BBEdit Lite for free (from BareBones software). But any text editor that can open the file will work. Be cautious with SimpleText - often has warning for file size over about 4k.
