pictures not showing on webpage

Hi, I'm new to webpage publishing and have used Frontpage to create a site. None of my pictures show after publishing, except for one and I cant work out why. Other dynamic effects seem to work fine but gif and jpg files wont show. The titles are all in lowercase and point to the right directory, they aren't huge files. I also use Zone Alarm firewall and I see in the source there is a reference to it which I didnt put in.
I've never done this before and cant find an answer on the net, can anyone help or do you need more information?

Did you upload pictures to the server?

Check the path to the pictures. Make sure that it's not pointing to your hard drive. (C:\path\picture.jpg)

Yes the path is correct and the pictures are uploaded to the server ok.

Well, maybe pictures are uploaded in the wrong format. Because by looking at your address, I saw the path to the picture, I tried entering it into the address bar and it shows up as broken. Did you upload pictures as ASCII or as binary? Check that.

I originally uploaded the pictures under the Auto tab on WS FTP Pro, but just reloaded one next to the one that is showing on the webpage under Binary and it hasn't seemed to make any difference.
The path on Properties of the picture is correct, so I am at a loss as to what is wrong.
Why should one show and not the others when they are all uploaded and configured the same as each other?
The other thing I noticed was with Frontpage and the Open Web command.....I cant seem to get to my server that way it wont accept my username or password, is this because my server doesn't support Frontpage? (I havent checked whether they do or dont yet).

This note is just to finalize this thread and maybe help others with the same problem in the future. I, with the help of other patient people here, finally figured out what was stopping my pictures showing.
It was WS_FTP Pro program. Although it 'appeared' to have uploaded the pictures, when doing an 'execute' command on the server side of the program the picture would not show.
It had all its info there, size, date, etc but the actual picture had not uploaded.
I dont know why this happened. The htm pages uploaded fine.
I eventually uploaded the pics via Dos commands.
I'm now looking for another ftp program as they are much easier to use than Dos........if they work! lol
