I watched a video from IncomeSchool on youtube where they recommended you should have 60 blogs in the first 90 days of your website being live.
It is actually 57.4323 blog posts in the first 83.3333 days. [sarcasm]
Is this actually true?
Not at all. It is pure BS.
should I scrap my current website and start over
with 1-5 visits a day you haven't event started the website you have, so there is nothing to start over.
Here are the things you need:
1- Good high quality content that provides value to the users. - A blog about describing some product, that is already described by hundreds of other blogs no matter how well researched and written doesn't meet that bar. You need to provide something that no one else does.
2- Backlinks - Not just any backlinks but links from websites that are well regarded from within your niche. Without point 1, gaining backlinks is very difficult.
3- Promotion - To get point 2 people need to know about your website, but without point 2 you will not appear in search and thus you essentially don't exist. You need to get your website seen, so that people can like it and link to it.
How difficult it is to achieve these points will vary from niche to niche.
A website is typically built over time, your content gets adjusted based on what resonates or not with your users.
