Hi, I want to ask you guys a question, and hopefully you will be willing to share some of your ideas.
Lets say you want to start a new website and the financial part isn't an issue, and of course I'm not talking about unlimited money, but enough to turn an idea into reality (reasonable idea, not the next google killer or something). What exactly would you do, or which direction would you choose (social media, news, an online store, some kind of paid subscription site, a site offering a paid service etc.) and maybe point out some steps you would take.
I know that you could make it big or achieve nothing at all in pretty much any direction you choose to take, it all depends on how you implement it, but if you do not want to give me specifics at least point out why would you choose something over something else.
I read somewhere recently that the web in heading more and more towards news, and freshly added content and interest based communities and it would be interesting for me to know what business model would be better to approach.
