hello,

I rec'd a message from google that my site was flagged as being forged. The link was returning 200, but is no longer active...I can't seem to find the file in any of my directories. Any suggestions?

Cheers!

Yikes, huleygirl! What a way to say welcome to Webmasterworld.... arrrggghhh!

You shouldn't post G's message, but more info is needed. What link from your site (no identifiable URL) was returning a 200 and what the heck is "no longer active" mean?

Did you scrape somebody for a time then take it down? Sometimes happens... but you do say you can't find the file so...

You might reply to the email and say "I don't have 'x' file on my site. This is a reconsideration request."
