Dedicated server price for 2009?

I'm looking for a dedicated server with a price less than $140/month any recommendation a reliable one ? best would be under $100 :D

My site isn't that much visitors now but i want to make sure once I launch an ads campaign it is not down or slow.

I prefer a linux server.

I've search the forum for answer but most of them post years ago, I guess the hardware cost is down now so I might get a better hardware config for a right price as of right now.

Please send me sticky mail if you have any recommendation of hosting company that you can't post here.

There are dedicated servers going for that kind of money. Since the box is dedicated to your site, you may want to look at the bandwidth capabilities of the host (the size of their pipe to the web) and whether the disk size, processor and memory is capable of processing what you want done.

We tend to avoid naming specific products and services due to the nature of people's work on the forums, as it's hard to tell what's genuine and what is self promotion.

I currently use a couple of dedicated ubuntu servers and they're 100% reliable...until I break them....
