Smart Pages

Trying to find info on Smart Pages

Hi, I am new to web design and the use of seach engines to promote traffic to my website. Was wondering if anybody knows anything about smart pages and if they are very effective in generating traffic to a website. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi, A " smart page " is a carefully constructed web page template that lets you plug in the keyword phrase you're targeting, along with a simple description of the product/service you'd like to sell. The pages are already configured for the Google search engine. After creating "smart page" you upload to your server and link "smart" page from a page on your site that is already being spidered by Google on a regular basis.

Sounds just like a preconfigured template. The idea isn't bad but...are the links from one site to another or within a site?

I'm not sure if it is from one site to another or within the site. Saw idea of smart page at a website called "the Whole Truth"

i'm not a fan of the term 'smart pages' but it's defenetly good for google to have title, keywords and description set in your pages. wether it's template-driven or not.

i just setted up a page in the beginning of this year with such a technique and the results are overwhelming. i haven't made an analysis of the driven traffic in detail, but the search results on google are impressive and very specific. it's a page with articles and news, and it's very well indexed.

my results can be very specific because the articles are very specific. so i can't tell you what's going on in a page where much more keywords specific things are needed.
