Camtasia Studio is awesome. $300 but there's a 30 day free trial period.

Thanks. Quite expensive it is but guess like you said, it is "awesome." Anyothers equally good and cost less?

Do a Google search for 'Wink'. Its superb and its free.

Alternatively, if you live in the UK, check the computer mag cover discs. An earlier version of Camtasia is floating around free on some of them.

Most cams come bundled with software, mine came with PowerDirector (CyberLink.) It's not that great, but it's easy to use, comes with quite a few bells and whistles - titling, transitions, effects, etc. I have Premiere here but you need a high end camera to import directly from the cam. For higher-end stuff, I use P.D. to export an AVI and bring it into Premiere.

PowerDirector is $89.
