Hello,

I'm going on day three with this and it's driving me to drink heavily :)

Scenario:

I have a site with wordpress installed on it through fantasico.

I am trying to add two standalone pages (thankyou.html and invitation.html). ** I have other standalone pages in a folder that redirects (DebRecommends.blahblahblah)and they work fine.

I added another folder to the root (thankyou) added an index.html page in the that folder. For some weird reason the darn pages keep calling the 404 error page from the wordpress site.

Funny thing is it was working the other day. I have no clue what I did to change that. Any ideas...Please

Make sure that Options > Permalinks settings are set properly. i think Apache is picking up the /NewFolder as if it were the URI to your post and it's not finding it so it redirects to 404..
