People who read this also read .

Does anyone know where I can find an easy-to-use script to do this?

Various websites, newspapers for example, have some sort of script that automatically displays a list of related links under a header saying, "People who read this also read ...".

I'd like something like this on my website. Does anyone know where I can find an easy-to-install/easy-to-use script that can accomplish this?

I've tried searching but I still haven't found what I'm looking for. Maybe I just don't know what to call it.

Thanks mucho,

You can try looking at the script repositories such as hotscripts.com, sourceforge.net, freshmeat.net, etc... You should be able to find what you are looking for there. If not, it shouldn't be too difficult to code one yourself ;)

I imagine you'd want to start with a 'visited link scanner' - easy to find code for it.

In a lot of cases the links that are displayed are simple articles or pages that contain very similar content. It is possible that they are just manually placed there to point people in thee direction to find content that they appear to be interested in.

It all depends on how many pages of content you have. If it is a relatively small number you may be able to do this manually. If you have lots of pages then you will almost certainly be looking at some sort of script to manage this for you.
