I would like to open a novilty site, that site would share my server with a few shopping sites and what not, but does google not like novilty sites? and what would i put for my tags so that google will accept it and list it? and will it affect other sites on my server if google dosent like it?

I edited your origional post to make this topic more usefull to all users. The specifics you mentioned are not really that importaint, but the issue you raised is!

As for sharing a server. It is possible for this to have a negative effect, but this would only really be an issue if your site was to be totaly banned from google. In some cases what Google and other search engines do is to block the IP address of the server.

If the server you are runing on is using "virtual hosting" (this is the industry standard) then all sites using that IP will also become banned.

As for the tags... To be honest the most importaint aspect of your site is the actual on page content. Obviously you will use a title, keywords and description that are well suited to the page, but the content is what really matters.
