I need a replacement autoresponder, as my current one seems to have a problem in that it unsubscribes people for no reason - including myself as a test user.
Annoying thing is, wading through the dozens of sites out there, it has become clear to me that many of the lower-priced scripts are actually the exact same script I'm already using, albeit with a different name. Screenshots identical etc.
Alternatively, does anyone have experience with this problem and knows of a solution? Basically the script seems to work fine, did work fine for a month or so, then I noticed everyone seemed to be unsubbing after a couple of days. Even if I subscribe myself I found I'm unsubscribed again by the 4th message.
Please do not recommend any pay-through-the-nose-every-month services, I'm looking for a replacement script for under $50. A good one.
Any clues?

That is to say I can put up a little sign-up box for certain pages that will provide an email course of say 15 emails on a particular topic, spread over 30 days or whatever, with the same thing but a different topic on a different page etc.
Asides from that I don't need any bells and whistles, just not another copy of "Autoresponder Unlimited", which is what has died on me.
