Welcome to WebmasterWorld vikramkpal.

It's very possible you don't have your SSL certificate setup properly. What server are you using?

I thought you had a site hosted on your PC. I guess I misunderstood you.

If you cannot open an HTTPS site then your security settings may be preventing access or you need to import the site's certificate to your browser's certificates list. That might be complicated for you though.

Have you tried another browser? The Firefox might be a good alternative to have in your toolkit.

You'll have to tell us a bit more. For instance, What have you tried? What happens when you try? Are there error messages? What kind of connection do you have? Have you had problems with this before? What sort of system are you working on? Can you reach similar pages? Can your friends reach the same page on their machines?

hi moderator,

i am using win XP with SP2 . i am using IE7. i could open the page previously but from last one month i could not open the page . yes my friends could access the page from their systems .

i am working on home PC with a broadband connection.

i am getting a message saying that IE cannot open the page .

Most likely causes:
You are not connected to the Internet.
The website is encountering problems.
There might be a typing error in the address.

what is ---- htaccess/conf file related to https.

could u specify what has to be in that file for hassle free usage of HTTPS sites.

if possible can u plz try to open the site for me and see if it is working or not .
