Hi

I'm currently exploring an idea I have come up with after reading blogs such as Travelling Nomad etc etc.

I'm off on a 6 month round the world trip in Feb and have no where near enough cash to last the whole time. Anyways, I understand that through google ads and affiliate marketing, a website has some earning potential and I have an idea which may make a fairly interesting read for people....I'm a low earning part time poker player and plan to detail my experience playing online and offline whilst travelling the world.

Well....I have downloaded Dreamweaver and have a web template and available domain name ready to purchase. However, I don't have any idea about creating or maintaining websites and have not yet used the tutorial on dreamweaver.

I'm good with computers so I should get the hang of Dreamweaver, but is this whole project possible as I am a complete beginner and have until February 2007 (when I leave) to decide if this is a goer and set the site up?

Any links, instruction and advise would be very welcome :)

if you have a php-enabled server, it is pretty easy to set up wordpress which is a free blog tool.

Make sure you take gazillion tons of pics within 6 months and post it to your site. I am sure you will earn a few cent per day from visitors browsing your pics.

You time budget is very tight, too. It took my own websites about 6 months to generate something like 3 Dollars a day - this might be just exceptionally bad, but don't expect too much and do some marketing before you dive into it.

I have no experience with gambling sites, but telling from my spam-e-mails, I think it is very competitive.

it depends of your niche and how you want to market your website and earn money from it , if you wanan add adsense then you can forget about it being gambling related , since its against google's adwords and adsense policy. what you can do is maybe make a website and tell about the places you go visit and then can use related subject adsensefor them, but making money online is just like other jobs, it takes time and hard work to make it happen.
