Hi All

For weeks I have tried to get a form on a website that we host to work. This is a standard form created in Frontpage where the user fills out the form and after clicking Submit should send that data by email to the website owners.

However I have now reached the stage that when the user clicks Submit the message below is displayed:

FrontPage Error.
User: please report details to this site's webmaster.

Webmaster: please see the server's application event log for more details.

When investigating the application log I get the message below:

The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( URLReplacer ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: URL Raplacer was started.

Although I am researching this, I am getting stuck on my next move. Is there anybody that can advise me on what to do next. Also are there any Front Page gurus out there that may come up with a possible alternative for this user form to work?

Regards

Steve

Have you used frontpage 'at all' on that site yet? I don't know how to answer that specific problem but I would suggest finding or writing a 'hello world' type frontpage-enabled script in order to be sure that frontpage is working itself.

What is the script you're using? (the thing on the other side of ACTION=)

Is it PHP, Perl, ASP?

Where did you get it?
