I've been selling large patterns from my site, but the cost of printing oversize copies (22"x28")has made the idea of selling the patterns as downloads look like a better idea for both my customers and myself.

I've turned the patterns into PDFs using Corel, fitting on 9 pages that are printed and taped together. I've got the file sizes for each pattern down to 1.2mb and 1.8mb range. Is that still too big?

I'm trying to keep it easy for my customers, as most of them are not computer wiz kids and I like to make things simple!

That might help. How do you do that? Is a download over 1mg considered to big?

Thanks. Val

1 megabyte is downloaded in 9 seconds in a standard DSL or cable (1 megabite) connection.
