I created my website a month ago and I have listed it with the search engines. when I type in my company name my site comes up on the first or second page. but how do I get listed under my keywords does that come in time or is there something else I need to do?

1. If it's that new, you will have to wait to get anywhere special - particularly with google

meanwhile

2. Make sure that your site grows and develops and 'your keywords' do feature on the site.

3. Find some quality directories, read their guidelines, and if your site qualifies, submit to the appropriate category. Start with FREE directories, and look for specialist ones in your topic

4. Also think about other links; give links to sites of interest to your readers, and read up on linking strategies to get sites to link to you (once you are established with good content, that will hapen naturally; it's the early days that count.

And while this is all going on, read up in here; don't worry about the stuff you don't understand - there will be plenty that you do.

Look for information on the linkbuilding forum; also, there are lists for free directories out there, do a google search on that and submit your site there; submit to yahoo and dmoz; built content and request links from related websites.

there are commercial directories that will charge you a fee - most of them are not worth the money, so be careful; I'd pay only for very related, specific directories with a high PR.

good luck!
