"nofollow"

Can I use it this way?

I've never used the "nofollow" attribute, and am wondering if it would be a good idea to use it for this purpose: basically, some of my store pages have titles such as Green Widgets Page 1 and Green Widgets Page 2 -- where I simply can't break down the categories any further, yet don't want to make the pages too long. So I'm wondering if, to avoid duplicate (or nearly duplicate) content issues, I should block the search engines from spidering beyond "Page 1"?

Or is there something else I should be doing (like not even worrying about this at all)?

Thanks very much.

smells so good

I think you will be better served with the NOINDEX attribute on the page that you don't want indexed.

The nofollow might work, but what if there is another path to the page? What if the page is located in some other way than by following a link?
