Hello everyone, I am a new user and a very inexperienced web designer. I know a few basics about web building but really need some direction in this one. I have built a small story site that allows submissions from authors. Currently I am manually adding these to the site. Is there a program or script (preferably free) that I can use to auto submit the stories?

Hello,

Do a search on hotscripts.com you will find 1000's of such scripts.

The sort of script you are looking for is a CMS (content management system) it allows you to accept member signups and allow then to submit articles, stories and other types of content. You can then visit an admin area to approve or decline submitted content. This will greatly speed up your review process and make it a lot easier from an admin point of view.

Thanks,
I did the search and found many scripts just like you said. Now its time for me to dig in and review the ones that look promising. Being new in the area of web discussions, I sometimes do not even know the question that I want to ask because I do not know the terminology that goes along with it.

hehe don't worry about that. Sometimes we all get like that. In this industry there can be many terms for the exact same thing. We just have to try and learn the basics and hope others know what we're talking about.
