I have some financial calculators in my site. Now I have developed js through which these calculators can be placed at any site and blogs. My question is, how would I inform it to the webmasters and bloggers?

I have prepared a newsletter, but how can I send it in bulk? Also it’s quite impossible to visit 1000 sites and collect webmasters email id. Is there any shortcut?

I have published PR in prweb and prleap.

I don’t know if this is the right forum for this topic, moderators please move it to appropriate forum. Thanks for listening.

The important point you need to take into account is spam. If you simple collect email addresses from the web and email the site owners then technically this is spam. What you couch look at is advertising in an opt in newsletter that is related to your niche.

The flip side to this coin can be seen here.

While you COULD advertise for people to subscribe to a newsletter, and a newsletter MIGHT be a good part of your marketing efforts, I don't think that addresses your immediate need.

You have a new product, and you need to get the word out. Problem is, the method you want to use is, in my opinion, both unacceptable and ineffective. It's spam, and webmasters are particularly resistant to spam. (But in terms of having set up technical filtering, and being resistant to buying anything from or paying attention to spam.)

I'd suggest you visit the "marketing world" forums here for ideas on more acceptable ways to market your products.

Thanks for your suggestions. I appreciate.

Since mine is a financial portal, my visitors won’t be interested in web-development tools, syndication tools. And I have to make webmasters and bloggers aware of these products too, otherwise how they can know that I have such a good stuff to offer?

Jtara, I thought newsletter is a good way, though I feel frustrated to see my inbox flooded with spams sometime. I would definitely look at the “marketing world” forum here. Any more suggestions for me? Thanks yall.
