Hello everybody:

I have been reading several discussions and I have found many beginners with the same problem: they don't know how to begin to develop any task about web design or development because they can't find the right learning and technical documentation support websites.

Let me tell you some good websites:

First advice: google, yahoo, etc. just write what you are looking for. It is so simple as it looks like.

The essential website for everybody within the internet is: www.w3.org
For beginners who want to learn (step by step) the basics of html, xhtml, css, tcp/ip, javascript, etc. I strongly recommend the free elearning website: www.w3schools.com
For beginners looking for good paper books or ebooks (not free): www.oreilly.com

These websites are quite nice for beginning the basics.

Other right thing is to suscribe to a webmaster community, like this nice website, which is full of "real world" web experience.
And the last thing, I think is also good idea request for experienced people. You can do this as well in this site (I think you have to suscribe, ask people, because I am a new member here).

I hope this stuff help beginners to center their minds in this crazy world.

See you

A great print source is also the Teach Yourself HTML(or HTML/CSS, XTML, ect) in 24 hours book by Dick Oliver. Not too overly technical for a beginner and just enough to whet the appetite for learning more :)
