Is it possible to learn web master by myself?

If you want to be webmaster you will need to know
html programming. This will help you build the websites. Along with this another language you will need to learn is CSS programming. These are fairly easy to learn. You just need to study them.

And if you ever need help with programming, you can ask/post here on this site. Just look up the correct forum/area and post your question.

And finally to the last and probably most important area is the marketing of your website. This is necessary if you want to make the money. It would be useless to create a website and not make any profits unless is if that is not your focus.

If you are creating a site for the consumers benefit such as an information source, than that's great too!

Your first area should be in learning html programming. Run a sesarch on free html programming.
Or learn free html programming

Run a couple searches and you should find a few sources that are free.

In order of learning,

>and other languages you might need once you understand everything more fully.

Oh, been down that road. Very long road and I haven't even came to the end yet and doubt I ever will. All I can say is keep an open mind, be prepared to put the effort in, read as much as you can but more importantly play as much as you can as this is where you'll learn, by your mistakes or by 'testing'.

Yes, it is possible to learn to be a webmaster by yourself. Good advice was given to you in the preceding posts. It all boils down to this: read and experiment. As frenzy77 said, you must begin with HTML. This is the easiest part. Get any book that you can, anyone will serve. Ask your friends or in the local public library. Copy the examples and see them with Internet Explorer. Even old books for HTML version 3.2 will be fine in the beginning. CSS (custom style sheets) come next, and it is the current trend. Much of HTML is now replaced with CSS, but you must get a rather recent book, as CSS is an evolving field. You may also take a look at the many sites in the Web which offer tutorials in these subjects. Search for "HTML tutorial" or "CSS tutorial."

It is possible, and most web developers have been down this road. The simple fact is there is no end to this road, it's just a constant learning challenge. Your best bet is to try and stay up to date with what is going on in the industry and keep on learning.

At the very start you should try and master html/css then once you are happy and proficient you can move onto a scripting language. php, perl and asp/asp.net are popular. Scripting makes it possible to make your pages dynamic and to an extent more interactive.

Yep most of us here I would imagine are self taught in our respective areas, its way easier than you imagine.

I recommend the range of books starting with 'A complete guide to XXX' maybe a little complex to start with but in the end worth the money, I use the HTML guide constantly.

I did it by myself with lotsa help from books.

All you need is getting good books and determination to succeed.

If you have the capability to self taught, I will say go for it. You can definitely be a better webmaster than any college grads out there (provided you make more money than them). :D
