Newsletter publishing software

Please recommend software

I need to start sending out email newsletters to visitors who sign-up. I have already started collecting subscribers via an online form on my site, which stores their data in an mysql database.

I now need some easy-to-use management software for creating/editing/managing subscribers etc and sending out the emails. Will probably only want to send out 1 or 2 a month at the moment, keeping them informed of new site content etc.

Can someone please recomemend some tried and tested software?

if your lists are not to large, check out PHPList. I have sent newsletters to over 5k subscribers with this script.

Beyond that you may need to check into contracting it out.

I use benchmarkemails to send all of my emails and they have a low cost for some of my smaller clients and they can handle larger lists as you grow. I use a few others as well. I hope this helps.
