Changing from frames-based to non frames-based

Is it possible to change easily from frames-based to non frames-based?

Help! I'm a complete newbie to web design, but have realised that to get better rankings I need to change an existing frames-based site to something more search engine friendly. Anybody know if this is possible or is it better in the long run to design a new site from scratch?

Welcome to the website!

It would be easier to start from scratch. Includes would work the same way as frames, but parsed on the server they are more SE friendly.

You can use server side includes, ASP includes, PHP includes. This way, you only need to change one file (like the nav.asp) and all pages are changed
