Custom Pages and StoreFront 6.0

I hope I can say this correctly.

Here is the set up. I use Dreamweaver MX and Storefront 6.0. I have a custom main page with different manufacturers on it. I want the customer to be able to click on the name of the manufacturer and have it come up with the search results for that manufacturer on a page. I don't know how to set it up in this fashion. Basically I'm not sure how to not use custom pages instead of letting the ecommerce software do it's function. Please, any help would be much appreciated.
