Give it some time, and in the interim do the regular SEO stuff like trying to get incoming links from pertinent, established, quality, high-PR sites. And add content, and then more content, on new pages that have a reason for existing in the first place. And then write some more content.

Its an online travel website. So more pages are being added my data entry team complete more destinations and hotels. Am i correct to say that if AskJeeves had no problem crawling my site on the first go then google should also be able to do that and will?

What you CAN do is 'open the door' to your site for Google. But you can't force GoogleBot to enter - you have to tempt it. Making your site more attractive to human visitors (e.g. by adding good content) is one of the best ways to make your site more attractive to GoogleBot.

Also, if you have images that are connecting your pages together with hyperlinks, try adding text links as well. Googlebots LOVE text links because they can easily hop from one page to the next. Also, make sure all of the pages you want indexed have links to all of the other pages. It's a good rule of thumb that if it's easy for a person to navigate your site, it will be easy for googlebots. That's what the engineers of Google intend!

Hope it helps.
