A complicated Mailinglist

I greatly appreciate any advice you can give me on this:

I need to setup a mailing list: when someone subscribes to this list he shall get a certain sequence of messages: daily and automatically. So if person A today subscribes to the list he will get today message 1, tomorrow message 2 and so on. If Person B subscribes tomorrow he will get message 1 tomorrow and message 2 the next day.

How do I do this? Is there a programm that can do this automatically?

BEATCALC used to work that way -- except that it was weekly.

I don't even know if it still exists -- but a Google for BEATCALC throws up some leads. Maybe that list's owner can tell you how they did that.

What you're looking for is a sequential autoresponder.

First, check with your current web host. Many hosting accounts come with free autoresponders.

If you don't have one available from your host, do a search for "autoresponders", and "autoresponder scripts" in the SE's and you'll find many options available both free and fee.
