And that doesn't even factor in however much time he spent dealing with irate responses from the people who received the spam. Does harvesting and spamming work for a legitimate website? NOOOOOOOOO!
using spam will cause :
- spam complaints to your hosting company and this means trouble ;
- sending spam from your own server is illegal, ask you ISP or hosting company, and it will cause problems;
- your domain will be added in the spam filters, this means that the next time you will send an email there are big chances that no one will receive it;
- if you are working with an affiliate you could have your account suspended ;
Does it worth?
Would you buy from someone who is spamming your inbox?
Put the money that you will pay for this email "service" in a Adwords account, you will have better results at any time.
PS:
I receive daily 100-150 spam emails / day, this is not even funny.
Heck I doubt it, I know one New Zealand based company that decided to try a mass email campaign.
My search engine mailbox got sixty three emails from them and for some really strange reason my finger clicked the wrong spot on the monitor and their website was no longer within my search engine listings.
So they sort of disappeared and my search engine web spider can't even find them.
Now I check spams and see who I can drop off the search engine listings because if they need hits that badly they can go and play at finding traffic somewhere else.
One guy's website that was indexed on my search engine sent me an email offering me cheap Viagra!
So I looked up his website contact number and called him at three in the morning to suggest that he buys some stock of Insomnia meds because he may need them if he spams me anymore...
He has not sent me anymore spam as yet!
