Google image search

Google no longer indexes my images

Hi all,

Just wondering if someone can help. I'm having a probelm with Google image search! My site is basically a collection of photos of various holiday resorts and up until a week ago, most of my images were indexed when I did a Google image search. All of a sudden they have disappeared from Google. Does anyone have any ideas why this might have happened? I use ALT image tags on all of my photos. My site has been running since Nov 2004. I also have around 20 or so good ranking inbound links (although Google only seems to think I have 5). When I search on my keywords on a Google web search, I am still indexed - I just seem to have disappeared from the image search.

Welcome to WebmasterWorld
Web search and image search are two different situations. I'd be more worried about only having 5 links (20 links isn't much better). Fix the links and you'll be happy.
