I have a problem with the video clips I post. I make them myself and then post them on my website in mpeg format. The problem is that when you play it the first time the clip is all choppy, it breaks up. If you wait and play it again however, it's fine. I've noticed this with other people video clips as well.

What is causing this and how can I fix it?

Anybody?

thanks

Sounds like they just downloading. Once there are in the machines cache, then they play like a local file.

Thanks jbinbpt.

That's why I thought, but a lot of people don't and they feedback saying that the videos are choppy.

Then again, when I search for video clips on the web, not all of them are doing that. Some play straight through the first time.

if they are choppy when playing on your hard drive, its a problem with the video. try re-encoding them.

if they are choppy when downloading, its probably your download speed which is too slow

if you want me to have a look just send me a PM
