Compatible Drop Down Menu

Hello all, I'm sort of a newbie (1-2 yrs exp) to web site development. I was wondering if it is possible to create a customized drop navigation menu without using javascript that will work in non-enabled javascript browsers as well as enabled ones? I'd also like something that is compatible with all browsers. Can anyone help me or point me in the right direction? I've browsed all the web development sites that I know with no luck.

Sorry for the long delay in responding! It's possible with CSS, but it's still (in my opinion) a zen-like exercise in web design. You'll find plenty of ideas by doing a search for something like css dropdown menu [google.com] in the search engine of your choice. (I linked to google.)

suckerfish dropdowns in the best one IMHO. google it and thou shall find. sit down for a few hrs and learn the code, really is the best way to do it
