Welcome to Webmasterworld, dont forget to read theWelcome Post [webmasterworld.com]
You are in a tricky catch22 situation here, with the old hosting company playing games.
Does the person who designed your site NOT have a copy of it?
And is the old host NOT willing to email it to you?
Seems like they just want to mess you around.
However if he has already changed the DNS, then you can not really expect him to upload the site, the only thing you can try and get is a copy of the site (if he still has it).
(btw, you mentioned tags in your post, are you referring to UK Nominet tag holders)
Shak
are the new tags at : FastHost or was the previous tag there.
I shall assume we are talking about a .co.uk domain name here?
To be honest, the webdesigner should let you have a copy of the site, if you have paid him/her for the design.
The other alternative which may be worth looking at is the world famous Google Cache :)

You are losing me, .uk.co is not an officialy recognised domain, but a subdomain operated by Bob Fox of Nominate in Luton, Beds.
the .co extension is for Columbia, and Bob was clever enough to register www.uk.co and then make a fortune by selling yourname.uk.co
as far as I am aware there is NO tag system for .uk.co domains.
maybe you want to go do some research on what it is you actually own.
otherwise we will just be going round in circles all day.

We are going in absolute riddles here.
I can imagine how frusturating it is for you, however your posts are not very clear, and therefore makes it very difficult to assist you.
Instant message me the details including domain and I will try and help.
Obviously do NOT post the domain or any other specific details on the board.

For a minute I thought you were winding me up :)
and as I said in the sticky,
always, always, always keep a copy of your site.
Shak
shame his marketing was not as good as Centralnic with their uk.com :)
