Inbound Links not listed on Google

Greetings!

I have more than a dozen quality inbound links (with a PR of 4+) which I can find if I type my web page's title into google. However, when I type "link:web page", only one appears.

How long does it take for google to find and list these inbound links? Is there a way to "force" the listing?

Since so much has been written about the value of inbound links, I am anxious to have google find the inbound links.

Google's link checker is notoriously fickle and at best it can only be used as a guide. Sometimes it doesn't show IB links with lower PRs. I wouldn't worry about it. Your other check indicates that the links are there.

You'll get a better picture of your links in Yahoo. Google only reports a sample of your links, while Yahoo seems to report everything it finds.

If the links are in spider-friendly locations that Yahoo can find, Google will be able to find them too, so don't let yourself worry. Invest your energy to cultivate some new links.
