Applications like Dreamweaver and Homesite can be upgraded when never versions come out. Go to Amazon or B&N and you'll find a plethora of books designed to help you learn how to use Dreamweaver, FrontPage, or how to design web sites using any HTML editor (HomeSite is one, you can get a free version of EditPad, and there are a ton of other cheap or free HTML editors out there).
I have never heard of this "sitesell" software either. It might be attached to a small company that few have heard of, there might be few (if any) instructional books out there to help you get the most out of it. (And how much do you *really* get out of it anyway? Is there a demo version you can try? With Dreamweaver and other programs, there are.)
Personally, I'd be reluctant to pay a lot for a program if I couldn't try a demo version beforehand. For all I knew, the software would conflict with something else on my computer, or might be too weird/slow/hard to understand. I'd want to know how it worked and what it looked like before I put down any cash for it.
