How do you check the amount of google backlinks you have. There is an article going on now in google news but I didnt want to post this there since I thought it was a beginner question. Is there a way to check if your backlinks are fluctuating? Thanks

In Google shows some sites that link to example.com. The list isn't inclusive and there isn't a definitive answer to what sites get included and which don't, though it's probably (more than likely) got something to do with PageRank. :)
