Keep images same size in lower resolution

I have run accross a hurtle in the web site I am making in Dreamweaver. My screen resolution is 1280+1024 but other people that have 1024+768 and lower dont see my web site properly, everything is bigger and such. im wondering what the HTML code is, or some config, to set the properties the same for all resolutions so the page is viewed properly.

welcome to WebmasterWorld!

there are ways of detecting what your visitors screen resolution is set to and then serving them different pages depending on the resolution they are using.

there is no code (AFAIK) that can magically make one page render perfectly at all resolutions (change text size automatically, etc).

There are fixed width designs which usually have their width set to somewhere around 760-780 pixels (think of 800x600 as the smallest screen resolution you will encounter), and of course the 100% width designs.

The choice is down to you.

well, ive already made the whole site, I just dont know how to make it fit viewable in lower resolutions is all.

what width have you given to the template?

what size are your fonts at the moment?
