Clearly I have missed something out here. I have let FP 2003 do all the work of making me a basic one page website. In it, FP provides for a 'feedback form' obviously where site visitors may leave questions comments etc. Please can anyone tell me why mine is not working. Any attempt to fill it in and send it returns the following message.

FrontPage Error.
User: please report details to this site's webmaster.

Webmaster: please see the server's application event log for more details.

I have contacted the guy who helped set the site up with the host server etc but his patience (or lack of it towards my ignorance) is wearing thin. He has sent me some mailer form stuff which I cannot comprehend either. I need help

Any fly-me-down advice for fixing this problem would be much appreciated.

Happy New Year!

Did you publish via FP to your website? Are FP extensions enabled on your website?

Just ordered a copy of site stats (with error reports,)from webmaster (friend under stress)but I am still stuffed without a working feedback form.

I thought FP should handle all this but I am pretty sure I have to submit some details somewhere to the form 'handler', so that FP knows what to do with the details submitted on the form itself.

Please keep an eye on this I am not gone away for too long as I must fix this problem.

Thanks

Ask your hosting company to check FP extensions. If you have FTP into the site, they might be corrupted.
