I'm new here. I need to learn how server work. Can someone tell me where can i find a good hard book on how to upload my site on a server and how to manage it and all the stuff about htaccess etc...?

Which FTP software you all use?

google "htaccess site:apache.org" or get a good book at your local bookstore.
scp / winscp is like ftp but secure and you can automate things.

We try to stay away from recomending specific products. Your best bet would probably be to visit Amazon and read some customer reviews.
