Based on the country associated with the user's IP address they want to redirect them to the relevant section within their site. For example, if someone from the uk enters [example.com...] they should be redirected to [example.com...]
-Would this have any SEO implications?
-Would problems arise where someone's ISP server is located in another country?

1) We have stats from several of our sites that claim that our biggest audience is in Canada / North America. We know this is not true as our product is not even sold there. However, I have since found out that one of AOL's biggest servers is over there. Meaning anyone anywhere in the world accessing the web through this server will look as though they are canadian or north american.
2) To make the task easier for you, you could simply have 1 homepage which has a "Please choose your country from the dropdown" option. Then redirect the user according to which country they choose.
