Need Horizontal Link bar to display only on some of the pages

I go to the INSERT menu -> Navigation -> Insert Web component dialog select -> Link Bars (Selected Bar with custom links)- > Next ->
select a Theme -> next -> Horizontal Link bar -> Finish.

Now when I select Bar with custom links I get a link bar which is on all the pages. Whereas if I select 'Bar based on navigation Structure' I get bar just on one page. On other pages it does give the text
'[Edit the properties for this link bar to display hyperlinks here]'
But what I'm really looking for it that I need to display horizontal Link bar on some of the pages.
For eg I'm working with Corporate Template - so I want to display Links only on Services and service01 - service05 pages AND NOT on home page or other pages. Please suggest me how do I do that.
thanks

Displaying the navigation on some pages? I first began building my website and I quickly found that frontpage templates are not real easy for someone looking to customize their site. I would strongly suggest learning how to code the site (it is so much easier than you would think). But that's not what you asked (but is my two cents).

If I remember correctly, I think that you could work with the navigation structure, and have the pages you don't want the link bar on to be not included in that tree. You can do this by working with the pages in the navigation view.

Best of luck to you!

The help refers to something called shared borders - which you can have tehm display on selected pages.
I don't find that either. Any idea?

Don't use the Shared Borders in FP. Use the FrontPage Includes [webmasterworld.com].

A lot of servers running Front Page Extensions have never supported the feature which automatically inserts navigation based on a tag.

Server Side Includes all the way for navigation. Forget the shared borders.
