Greetings,thank you in advance for all of the help I will be recieving from this forum.
My 1st of many questions here is this.
I am in the process of hiring a firm to build a website for my company,a little behind I know.
My company is very specialized in that we sell batteries for high tech medical equipment and waterproof batteries for oceanography work.
How would you advertise my site? Would PPC or SEO be the way the way to go and why?
2nd question I just found this forum and see the confrence is coming up in Vegas,has anybody been to this conference before and how are they.

You would actually want to a nice combination of both. Make sure your design firm understands at least the basics of SEO and make sure that they build in some sort of tracking system for the PPC. Why would be because you are covering all your bases that way.

The conference is great, you meet lots of people and learn all sorts of things but... that being said, it is really meant for a more advanced internet marketer. If you are a beginner , there may be some value in that you will be able to understand a little bit about what you should know and be able persue it afterwards, but much of the information may be too indepth for you to understand at the time.

Make sure your SEO company can optimize the key words properly. Use key words that will get people to your firm, and not words that sound good but are never searched for in search engines.
