I am trying to create an Intranet for our company.

I want to create a web page where I want to give the links to all the frequently used formats of Leave Application, Expense Reimbursement, Requisitions etc so that the users can just login and click on the link. It will either allow the user to save the format (or template whatever you call it) onto the hard disk or allow the user to open it directly in the browser and then save it.

I am not proficient in web designing and can use only Frontpage.

I would like to know how I can achieve what I have mentioned above. Is there any free ASP script available for the same which I can re-use?

Regards,

limbo

Could you link to a document on the server that was a MS template? Make the template read only. If they open it through IE (presumably it what you have) they can open, add what they need and 'save as' to their local folder or drive.

(A word of warning from the initiated: setting up an intranet can be very time consuming and will quickly become an addictive habit that needs food and water every day ;) )

Dear Limbo,

Thanks for your comment.

Could you just elaborate it a bit please.

I had already mentioned I am very new to this whole thing.

And ya I know it has to be watered frequently. :)
