Does spamassassin just label emails found the be spam as spam, or does it auto delete them and/or have the ability to block spammers?

I get all of these emails that only have a large list or random words in it, it's probably viruses and I'm not sure if I should block those ip's or not. My ClamAV removes the viruses and I guess all I see are the random words in it.

All of these emails for v.1.a.G.r.a and p.r.3.s.c.r.i.p.t.i.o.n.z is driving me insane.

As far as I know you can chose. By default it only tags them.

The key to SpamAssasin is that you have to train its Bayes filter. We use SpamAssassin as the first line of defense on our mailserver. But due to our email architecture our users can't train it, so the reults are poor. Still it sieves out about 50-60% of the incoming SPAM.
