converting dynamic pages to static html files in one fell swoop

I'm running a coldfusion site driven by a sql database on the back end. The site was built by someone else -- I just maintain it and confess I don't understand the technology as well as I should.

My question is this: I want to make a copy of each page on the site. Ninety percent of the pages, however, are created on the fly. So in order to copy a page, I visit it on the front end and click 'save.' (I know -- that's pretty low-tech. Don't laugh.)

Anyway, that method works okay when I have only 1 or 2 pages to capture as static html. But now I need to copy ALL my pages (thousands) in a short period of time.

Is there a way to automate the process?

Many thanks,

There are a number of automated tools that can download every page from a site, re-writing links to re-create the site on your hard disk.

I use Teleport Pro to do this, have a look at the Offline Browsing Tools [directory.google.com] section in dmoz/google directory for other options.
