Flash MX and databases

how do we set up apache/php/sql/flash

I need to build a website in flash mx and require the use of databases.

can anyone tell me how to go about setting this up because i am very confused?

any help is appreciated!

silly question for you though - why Flash? If you want to use a database that's great, but why bog it down with Flash?

Because i am doing a dissertation for it. its all about the hci design and so on.
