Hey guys,

I recently decided to learn some proper HTML and upgraded from using FrontPage to XHTML & CSS.

I have now FTPed a few pages (under different names) to my server, just to make sure they work. But I can't seem to access them...
Hopefully I'm just being stupid (this is my first time using proper FTP instead FP's).

I changed my index.htm to index2.htm and tried to view it using www.domain.com/index2.htm, but I just get a 404.

My server still has FrontPage extensions installed, could this be the problem.

Did you make sure to put your index2.htm in the root directory of your site and not in one of the FP sub-directories (those with the funny names including an _?

Thanks, but I found out what the problem was, for some reason the latest version of my site is stored in a seperate dir. So once I put the test pages in there they worked.

Don;t know why FP did that, but it doesn't really matter as my new site will be up soon anyway.
