Hi,

How do I get a thumbnail image of my game appearing in the Bing search result?

I am completely green to SEO and search engines.

<snip>

So when I search 'retro widget online web game' I am turning up on the front page (at least in the UK).

However, other games are appearing and they have images of their games on the right of their search entry. My website has no picture so looks inferior as a result.

I think my game looks better than theirs, so my search entry would be much improved if I could have a picture of my search result.

I know how to take screen shots. But how do I get a thumbnail image of my game appearing in the Bing search result?

Hello Jaa17 and welcome to WebmasterWorld [webmasterworld.com]

You might try visiting the Bing help center: [bing.com...] to learn how they include images in results. I'd suggest preparing a good image to use for that.

Hi not2easy. I am signed into my Microsoft Webmaster account, but your page link says 'No data available'.

Every time I am searching on the web and it links to a bing.com webmaster link, it says the same thing. What am I doing wrong? Why do I have limited access to these pages?

It is possibly because of the forums' formatting, maybe try a clean link.

You would need to copy and paste it in your browser's address bar: https://www.bing.com/webmasters/help/help-center-661b2d18

If that does not work, I would look at your browser's settings, especially if you are using an ad blocker. I tried out the link before posting it and it does go to Bing's help center. You might want to try the link when you are not logged in at Bing's webmaster tools.

Oh, I got this message not long ago when trying to look up something at bing. Turns out they didn't like my browser (Firefox for Mac) but the page opened up just fine when I tried assorted other browsers.
